Tiny Adblock Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Tiny Adblock does not collect, store, or share any personal data or browsing data.
What the extension does
- Blocks network requests to a fixed list of ad domains bundled with the extension.
- Closes new tabs that a page opens to a different website (popup ads).
- Prevents pages from opening popup windows.
All of this happens locally in your browser. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and makes no network requests of its own.
Permissions
- declarativeNetRequest: blocks requests to known ad domains. Chrome applies the block list itself; the extension never sees the requests.
- webNavigation: detects when a page opens a new tab, so popup ads can be closed. Page addresses are checked in memory and never saved or sent anywhere.
- Access to all sites: ads and popups can appear on any website, so blocking must run on all sites.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
